What size MT ET's?

RE: What size MT ET's?
it's going to crown and you won't have the right contact patch. If you don't know what crown is, it's like a motorcycle tire where the center touches and the ends don't.

What would happen if I put the 26x10.5-15 et streets on the rims I bought? Is this dangerous or just not going to work correctly? The site says the "minimum recomended" size 7.3 rim width.
I think I would want to try that and if it doesnt work I will buy $50 steel wheels from summitracing.com

dont buy them off of summit. just go to a tire shop and tell them you want 2 steel wheels with 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, and 8 inch wide. they will sell them to you for like 10 bucks a pice. i used to work at atire shop. and quit when i just got the mustang[:@]

if you look around the boards you can probably pick up a nice set of Prostars for a decent price. Also the less weight you have the axles turning, the less chance of breaking something.

If you dont mind me asking, what other boards are you on? I havent looked for any others because this one is so good, and my girlfriendmight kill me if I spent even more time on the computer at home.

RE: What size MT ET's?
I have recently mounted MT ET streets on the exact wheel you have.
I went with the 275/50/R15s they are working OK with the 275s, but they look really streched. they are not having problems, but its just really really close. They still seem to hook up ok, and it doesn't SEEM to be streched enough to cause it to cup or screw up, but its just very close. I am nervous to run them with less than 15-18 PSI in fear they may come off the wheel.
The problem with his last listed one is the tire hieght. A 255/60/15 gives you a tirediameterof 27.1inches... which is going to reduce gearing (effectively make his gears longer).
The 235/60/15s are a 26 inch tall tire, as is the 275/50/15. You need to stay with a 26 inch diameter tire to keep your gearing the same.

The last one ya listed would be the best on the 15x7 wheel you have shown.
