Default o/r h + lm1's = crap?

Was really hoping to get LM1's but all i hear aboutis how they sound like crap with a h pipe.... So am i stuck withflow masters since i have the h? Seems like thats all people have on their stangs, just wanted a good but real mean and unique sound. Anyone have any input?

Does anyone even have this setup (LM1's + o/r H), so that they can post up a clip, bc I was thinking about getting this same setup!

What about LTs with a shorty O/R H-Pipe does that sound like crap with the LM1's?

I had LM1's with a Mac O/R h-pipe and it sounded terrible! [:'(]It sounded like a pure machine gun around 2,400ish rpms. Far from a muscle car!....I wished I had just stayed with the Flow 40's and O/R h....I put in two hi-flow cats to give it more tone. With the cats it brought back the muscle car sound.

IMO, LM's sound like complete **** no matter what theyre on[:'(]. Go with flows or magna flows, they sound really nice. Also, pipe diameter plays a big role on tone. The larger, usually, it sounds more throaty. Well, except on 4 bangers.

i have LTs with a shorty CATTED HWITH LM2s and it sounds like ***. LOTS of crackling and popping above 2300rpm. an o/r pipe with LM1s would sound even worse i would imagine.
