Default Headlight trauma!

Well, for a few years my headlights in my 2000 GT were getting progressively worse. Eventually, they got so bad I might as well have driven around with my fog lights on as headlights. I really didn't want to spend the hundreds to replace them, and no product worked to clean them off....until recently.

I found out about this headlight cleaner through a friend. It's made by Crystal View Chemicals. It has a lifetime guarantee so i fugured why not give it shot (although I was still skeptical). I ordered it online and tried it out this weekend and to my surprise, it was nothing short of perfect. My lights went from yellow and foggy to looking brand new. I took a bunch of pics and when i get my computer home I will post them. They don't look any different from the pics on the below web site.

So if any of you have been or are battling the same issue, try this stuff. It works. Here's the site:

It sounds like a cheesy site, but they were great. Stuff came in two days. Phenominal!

Post up if are thinking of it or with any questions.

I tried some polish on my 99 headlights, but it didn't work, so I bought some smoked lights. They look much better than the clear.

What's the process? My headlights look as if they have little spiderweb cracks in them. I'm doubting this (or anything) will work.

HA! thats what i thought to. this crap works though. you have two small pieces of sand paper, one 800 grit (if I remember correctly) and one 1500 grit. wet lenses and paper and rub the 800 first for 3 mins. then wipe off and rub the 1500 the same way for 1 minute. once done and dry, put a layer of this polish/wax stuff and rub off. when dry and clean, put two layers of the sealant on it. i was amazed at the results. pics to come.

i had the same type spidering effect, along with a bit of yellowing but they were so cloudy and "fogged" up that they almost looked white. the sand paper takes off the damage to the lens and then the 1500 grit basically polishes it so you cant see the cracks. its like $30 and it basically they say if it doesnt work, send it back for a full refund. you just have to apply it properly. i thought worth a try. give it a shot.
