lol
Stay around the forums, just be more observant of the dates in threads (if you use the search forum, be especially observant)
If you can brush off this welcome (which you have indeed inadvertently self inflicted) then you're good to go in the Internet world.

Thanks for a constructive response!!! As mentioned, new to the game. Because of what I was looking for, I did a Goodyear search -- clearly DID recognize the date of the last post. I may not have been in tune with the common use of a forum, but I wasn't looking for a particular response or technical feedback -- just wanted to try putting something into the system to get a feel for how it worked. Gotta' say I wasn't impressed with the attitude coming back. Hopefully not all of your members are quite so lacking in civility! Not much time in my life for conversation with opinionated jerks!

You have to have thick skin on the internet especially forums. You can't let comments bother you or you will hate it.
I could have got all mad when you said "BraMas is a budding tire genius" and fired back with a bunch of BS but I didn't I actually chuckled and moved on. No matter what forum you are on one of the biggest pet peeves is reviving an old thread for no reason.
You also have to understand that this is the 94/04 section so their is allot of young wiper snappers in this section

Looking for 2 new tires for my 01 GT. Must be new Goodyear Eagle ZR45; 245/45ZR17. Local dealer can't locate any. Goodyear dealer won't try so I'm turning to you all as my last hope. One tells me they are discontinued which I already knew and another tells me the molds have been discontinued which I also knew is possible. I just need 2 new ZR45 to keep my GT stock. Any help appreciated. I've got 2 awful looking Toyo tires on it now and it looks like crap with them instead of the Goodyears. I hit an unknown object in roadway and whatever it was, it penetrated through the wheel and split the tire. My GT only has 18K miles and it looks like new-except for the two front tires.
I know this is an old post, but I recently bought 4 brand new Goodyear Eagle 245/45ZR/17's as spares for my totally stock '04. . . . and I do agree with you, these look the best on our cars! They are available if you look hard enough. Mine still have the Goodyear stickers on them.
