well after several times of my cds getting jammed and scratched up, it happened for the last time tonight. I went to take my new cd out of the player and it jammed and came up with cd error so i was already pissed because it was so hot out, i decided to punch the cd player. Now im goin to go buy a new deck tomorrow. any suggestions on new decks? anyone else had this problem?

How about going to the gym and hitting a bag instead of you deck. (1) it's factory, so don't expect it to last forever. (2) It's electronics, so it's gonna f*ck up on you.

I'm partial to Kenwood & Pioneer, but I really like that JVC excelon

yeah the stock cd changer is a serious peiceof**** mine acts up all the time, in fact right now its all messed up, now it just sounds like abaseball cardstuck in the spokes of a bike and it doesnt do anything soo gay

I never had a problem with the one in my mach 1, but the one in my wifes escape is a POS. Does exactly what you are describing. [:@]

I heard that if you change the Mach sound system deck, your gonna have to change everything else out.

When I was at Circuit City, they actually maketwoharnesses (depending on what head unit you buy)that you can just plug into the factory harness and it will work. It's just the system is amplified and that's what f*cks people up sometimes

You cant just change the 6 disc for a regular cd player. If you do you HAVE to rewire every speaker to the new head unit to bypass the 3 facotry amps.
