Default Roush Stage 3 kit

Anyone have experience with this? Is it a good way to go, or is it better to put together your own package? I talked to a guy that had a stage 3 car, and he said it was amazing the way it handled.

Honestly for the money you would probably be better off with a package from Maximum Motorsports. Look at all you get in the Sport box compared to the Roush kit. Just my opinion though. Roush/Saleen = overpriced (sadly). I only say that cause I have a 96 Saleen and will need new shocks and struts in the next year. 700 for a set of four. May switch to Bilstein's, but Maximum Motorsports has some nice setups.

MM Sport Box includes: (99-04 GT Hardtop)
[ul][*]MM Strut Tower Brace[*]MM 4-Point K-Member Brace[*]MM Standard Subrame Connectors (bare steel)[*]MM Panhard Bar with Aluminum Rod[*]H&R Sport Springs[*]Tokico Premium Performance Front Struts[*]Tokico Premium Performance Rear Shocks[*]MM Caster/Camber Plates (select Black or Chrome finish)[*]MM Urethane Pinion Snubber[*]Urethane Front Spring Isolators[*]Urethane Rear Spring Isolators[*]Urethane Steering-Rack Bushings[*]Urethane Front Swaybar Bushings[*]Front Swaybar End-link Bushing Kit[/ul]

That's a sweet kit. Thanks for the tip. I'll probably get the blower first, then something like that.

Yea, I would love a blower. Can't decide on Vortech or KB. Of course, I need $$$ first. Forgot to say price for kit above. I believe it was around $1600.00, it all depends on if you want a track setup for the twisty's or drag. Look and see what Maimum has. They have a lot more than the one I posted.

noo! dont get that. you can get those lower control arms off ebay for under 100 right now. (the roush ones)

as mentioned above, saleen and roush way overcharge. you can get =,> the quality of product they offer for less money

Let me make that easy for you. Get the Vortech. I tried to order the KB, butthey don't make the 96-98 kit anymore due to manifold problems.

BTW: Nice ride!

Thanks. Yours isn't too bad either. I'm assuming you just had a S281 with the Vortech. Although I did noticed the S351 wing back there. Looks good. I love the look of Saleens. Which number is yours? Mines 326, as per my screen name. It's nice to see some more 96-98 sn95 Saleens. Have you checked out the Saleen forum on Mustang Forums? Good group of people. Here's the link. https://mustangforums.com/forumid_2/tt.htm

Yeah, I had the infamous "double stacker" wing. It had to go immediately so I got the s351. Yep 281 no. 056 with way too many mods to list
