Just got an 1996 Cobra
Hello everyone
Just picked up a 96 mustang cobra this mornings. It is mystic paint, almost mint condition at 67k miles. I got it for 7500. Any thoughts on how good of a deal this was? This guy has babied it and the only reason he is getting rid of it is he has a new shelby sitting in its place in the garage.

would you recommend that pro 5.0 shifter ive been seeing everywhere? Do I have anything to worry about with this tranny if im not power shifting and slamming it into gear? Ive read issues about syncros and shift forks. This hasnt a grind or anything in the tranny so I can tell nothing is wrong yet. I just want to do what I can to keep her healthy

if your looking for a short throw shifter im going to be selling one pretty cheap, along with a bbk o/r h-pipe, i have a 97 cobra with 41k miles on it, im pulling the short throw shifter out, its a pro 5.0. and im selling the bbk o/r h-pipe thats on it also. because im going with a bassani o/r x-pipe so let me know if your interested in the midpipe or shifter, shifter imma sell for like $80 shipped or something. its been on the car for about 5,000 miles.
