Default Totaled Mustangs: Part Out?

Who would I contact/Where would I go/How would I go about searching for totaled out 02-04 Mustang GT's?

Since finding heads on the internet is more difficult than it should be *Dstang03, if you read this, I havent given up on contacting you yet*

SO I was wondering; What about all the Mustangs that get totaled out? Would I have to go to a junk yard and hope to find a low mileage Stang sitting somewhere? Could I do the pull apart process my self on their property.....

Anyone ever heard/done this before?

Evan, I'm dying to get some aftermarket motor work done, but I don't have the money for a set of heads and cams/valve springs, let alone the cam install.

I'm graduation in the fall, but come the end of February, I have to pay ALL my car insurance instead of half like I have been doing, save up for a winter beater next year (IF mine's running. If not, I need a beat the 1st of March.) Just alot of stuff coming up on me soon, and I don't have the dough on me to do some upgrades.

I mean hell, if I could pull off some stage 2 heads and just swap my stock cams over, I'd do it. But heads are something in the 6-700 dollar range, and I am not even 100% sure a new head will fix the problem.

Thanks for the places guys.

I called the MPS Salvage place, they have a set from a couple '02's for 450 loaded and everything. And I'd order from there RIGHT NOW, except now I'm unsure if '01.5 started the thread upgrade, or if they didnt switch till 8 in '03 like he said above.

DAMN FORD is all I have to say.
