If you were to put wider tires on the back to where they would stick out past the wheelwell, would they rub when you hit a bump or would they still clear? And I need more info on the 4cyl. springs. I've heard of this before and never knew how it was done or the cost of going that route or even where to get them for that matter.

if you went with a 2in drop and you want to do all you can to correct the geometry, you should get caster camber plates, steering rack off-set bushings, bump-steer correction kit, shorter end links to connect to the sway bar, aftermarket shocks and struts, and finally... an alignment.

however at the very least, offset bushings, and if needed the cc plates to correct the alignment. You dont have to replace the struts, but you eventually will have to as they will wear faster.

I HAVE 275/40/17 on the back now with no issues. and yes a wider tire would still clear without rubbing.

dont waste your money on those x2 balljoints, lower your car, dont worry about 1/4 time because its not something your going to notice and your going to be much happier once its lowered.

Thats what I've come to conclude. I think I'm set on the H&R sportlines with cc plates for now. I don't drive my car much, only in the summer on nice days so I think the struts would hold out for awhile or at least long enough to save up for some new ones. Is this something I could install myself or would it be worth it to take it to a garage and let them deal with it and not get my hands dirty.
