I've wanted to get a terminator for a long time now but the new body style of the 3v's are starting to lean on me. With it being 2008, I see the 2005 GT's going for 19-20K with under 15,000 miles on them and 03-04 cobras going as low as 22K with under 20K on the odometer. Performance wise, the cobra is the way to go, but it just seems as if the 99-04 body style isn't as big of an eye catcher as it once was. I can't decide if I want to get a 2005 GT and be happy with a simple S/C upgrade to net 400HP with maybe a saleen body kit or if the terminator is the way to go with putting in the money support 550-600HP. I know that some of you were recently faced with the same decision, so what was your deciding factor? As for color, screeming yellow in the 04 cobra or 05 GT looks nice![/align]

i say 03/04 cobra (and i even voted) for 2 reasons:
1) more power
2) it's a cobra, and will hold it's value

IMHO this is a no brainer.... termi, pulley swap and full exhaust, tune = 460rwhp.... 05gt, full exhaust and lets sayyy....throttle body and tune....285rwhp?

is money an issue like insurance. uh cobra forged interals so thats easy. you could do like 1slow85's wife and procharge but thats 450 or so hp and thats around the limit with stock internals. irs and small bolt ons and build up the rear end u should be good with power. the body style looks great and like every one would say. its a COBRA

1. You can beat almost any car on the streets and some bikes with the right mods
2. It looks a hell of alot better than the 05+ body
3. Holds value better
4. Dont need to spend 4K on a s/c already has one just

Cobra For The Win - literally. And it looks hella sexy, will probably get laid 3.4x faster than with an 05.

I've seen 3V's with full exhaust, tune, intake, tb, and pullies make around or more than 305 rwhp all day. I get what you're saying, though. The Termi comes with a few more stock.
