Basically it's Long Tubes or keep the stockies. No real gain with shorties.
Sound wise their shouldn't be a noticable difference. LTs might perhaps be a bit louder, but that's all speculation.

incorrect. shorties are just as much of a pain in the a**, for less than half the performance gain. SAME exact install procedures for shorties or longtubes...there is no more or less work for either one.

Incorrect. I've done them both. Shortys are a lot easier to install. They get a few less ponies than LT's.
