Default Wishing for Ford to reinstate the 351W

My Girl friend just got a 2000 WS6 Trans/Am Ram Air(Automatic) THis Is the first faiLs1 Car I have been in (I've been in plenty of Lt1's and 350's,305's 355's and 383's) And I was pretty impressed not near as impressed as with my 03 cobra but the thing was a revving machine bone stock I've heard the chevy guys claim a ls1 can rev to 7500 stock but I thought it was just them talkin out of there anus but back to the subject. SO I have a 99 gt 5 spdand a 96 cobra the gt is bone stock except Cold air exhaust and speedlimiter is off so off the line I win with both of the cars but top end the faiLs1 spanks the Gt and Hangs pretty tight with the cobra but after third gear the faiLs1 passes it but doesnt pull hard ( maybe 3 cars in a 1 mile str8 stretch)..Now don't get me wrong I love the DOHC engine in the cobra but I just wish Ford could make something that could compete with these cars and I know the 3 valve 4.6 run better than the 2 valves but still cant compete with her T/A (Raced a couple)....My 03cobra shuts her car down like crazy but its not even a fair race got about 400 horse on her and 24 lbs of boost. So ford needs to build a car that is affordable with a 351 or maybe even a decently priced 5.4 (Shelby gt500 arent affordable to me I love Mustangs but when ac6 Z-06 brand new cost 70 k and a gt 500 brand new costabout 60k im gonna pick the 427 just my opinion) So I just wish that ford could put a nice CI motor in a mustang and not charge an arm and a leg for it or even put the 351 in the gt500 and slap an eaton on it then it would be worth 60k but just want to know everyone else's opinion on this....By the way just because The T/A is faster doesnt mean I like it and I would never put a chevy motor in a ford unless I got the motor dirt cheap or was planning on tottaling the car....

Well I know that ford is hurting now and the 2 vehicles that are keeping them kicking are there f-150 and mustang for the most part and SVT has stalled do to the financial situation of alot of American Motor Companies are hurting but I think ford is really hurting now that Dodge has gotten back into the Law enforcement to replace the explorers and Crown Vic so I'm just looking forward to a ford that can compete with the c6 zo6 and I know the KR and Super Snake are out now but then again chevy came out with the new zr1 and personally for 100k Id just get a Ford Gt....And as for the thread being to long DOnt know what to tell you

It wasn't that it was too long, it just was one huge paragraph, which makes for a long read.
