cut off the tabs? what do u mean bro. did you have the same problem with them not fitting? it sucks to have them but not be able to get them on
This is a common problem with plug 'n play MIL eliminators (maybe all of them-IDK).Ford used indexing keys (tabs) to prevent the left and right O2 sensor connections from being interchanged--the indexing keys are the only difference in the connectors. Making identical connectors for the aftermarket MIL eliminators (and O2 extensions) would just add significantly to the cost for very little increase in value. Anyone with 1/2 a brain should be able to figure out why the odd-side connector doesn't fit, and use a pair of diagonal cutters and/or a utility knife to snip off the tab/key...
haha thats all it needed. plugged the one in but cut the little plastic tabs with a pair of wire cutters off the second one,and it went on easy. taped them and tucked them up with some pull ties. Car runs just as good if not a little better. deffinately sounds damn good.
a lil off topic, but i have a home o/r x pipe, and a chip. the guy i bought my car from dont know if he pput mil elimnators on it, but i dont get a check engine light. now my question. i dont need mils do i???
