The t/b will work. The u/d pulleys and the plenum will have to go.I have the 6 lb. non i/c 2.1 with 4:10's. Don't be scared of the 4:10's, just get some lower contol arms and someMickey Thompson drag radials.Rwhp and 1/4 mile times in my sig.
yes.. the u/d pulleys and plenum do have to go but how do you know the t/b will work? did he say which model he bought. if it's the 2.6 he needs the oval cobra t/b not the round one that you have.... and it's funny to see everybody say all these good things about the 4.10's I'm curious to see what kind of hp numbers you guys are putting down.. I know bt1288 has it in his sig.. and no offense but you need to have mickey tompson drag radials on just to keep your tires to the ground and your numbers are far from impressive. his unit is intercooled so his numbers will be higher then yours. Fact is if he gets any real h/p numbers down with that k/b 4.10's will just smoke the tires.. I have the larger 2.2 KB so I'm not just guessing here.

Not to mention that this guy doesnt sound like the most experienced person around if he's going out and buying supports mods like a new plenum.. u/d pulies and an aluminum driveshaft which although it's nice is definetly not needed if you still have stock internals limiting your h/p to only around 400hp anyway.

You're right about the t/b with the 2.6. I have a conservative tune. I didn't think a 90 rwhp increase was to bad for non i/c at 6 psi. 240 rwhp before, 330 rwhp after.

no.... it's not a bad increase considering that it's pretty much the lowest possible setting that you can run that s/c at... that is.. it's not intercooled and running at really low boost... so your right it's not bad considering .. me saying that it is not impressive has to do with the fact that the s/c's most people have these days are putting down around 400rwhp minimum b/c it's really easy to accomplish... hell, even the basic 2.1 intercooled kit puts that down... so your setup is obviously able to produce more h/p you are just limiting it by not having an intercooler and lower boost.... which is fine.. there is nothing wrong with that but there is a noticable difference between 330 rwhp and 400rwhp.. and with a lower gear ratio like 4.10's the more hp and more importantly the more (instant) torque you have the harder it is to keep the tires planted.

yeah.. the 2.1 KB does come in an intercooled kit.... you will have to go to kennebell.net and look up the price.

I ran 4.30s for a while after my build. With 506 rwhp and drag radials the car hooked good off the line. I wouldn't even think of buying regular tires for mine. I tried it once and it was horrible. I could roll into it in third and smoke the tires. I have a centri though, which is much easier on the tires off the line than the KB torque monster.

i use to have a vortech aftercooled at 10psi putting down 440rwhp in my car. and that isnt instant torque. i had 3.73's and 315/35/r17 nitto drag radials and i couldnt keep them from spinning in first on the street or from a low roll.

well.... the car may run mid 13's with a kenne bell and underdrive pullies. lol. it could be faster with the stock pullies considering that you will have to put a small ass pulley on there to try and run the same boost. lol. also.... why did you buy a new plenum? it will not work with a kenne bell. also the throttle body may not fit like what was said before. also have you thought of buying stuff like injectors and a fuel pump? you could blow your motor without that extra fuel you will need.....
