Default I just ordered a Kenne Bell supercharger for my 01' GT

I ordered the newerinterecooled and polished kit for my 01' GT, and can't wait to get it installed. I was wondering what kind of times, and power you guys were pulling with this setup. My engine has stock internals for now, butplan on changing that a little later. I installed underdrive pullys, a K&N FILPK cold air intake setup and Ford Racing 4:10 gears out back. My orignal Goodyears were in need of replacing last season, but still managed consistent 13.7 and 13.80's in the quarter mile. I bought an Accufab upper intake plenum and 75mm. throttle body last month, but have not been to the track to see how much difference it made. I also bought some Toyo Proxy4's that have an "A" traction rating, and hope that with the tires and new intake setup I could run a low 13 in the quarter. My GT has the automatic with overdrive transmission, which I just had to replace the tailshaft housing on today. I also installed a Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft, to help prepare for the extra power of the supercharger. With my underdrive pullys, newly orderedlarger MAF, 4:10's and Kenne Bell "BLOWZILLA" supercharger with intercooler, what kind of times and MPH do you think I can achive?

TRADE MY Mach 1 HOOD + scoop set up for easy GT install (attached, no intake system necessary, unless you want it) for a COWL hood and maybe STOCK + CASH (but probably not). The hood is painted silver, in great shape, does need a color sand, but thats no biggie. Would prefer a swap for a silver one, but will consider many options. Need to trade due to changed plan on this car. RTP/Greensboro/Charlotte

congrats on the purchase ive got the 2.1L in my stang, you will love it!, mite have some traction issues with the 4.10's and the kenne bell though, i put down 370hp and 400+ lbs tQ, its ridiculously quick and this is on one hell of a conservative tune. any ways man enjoy it!

Well, I really hope you did your homework first before ordering that blower..... first off which size blower did you get the 2.1 or the 2.6? You don't need the plenum you just bought with a KB.. and if you got a new tb then I hope its the correct one b/c you need a different size depending on if you got the 2.1kb (round) or the 2.6kb (oval)..... you will hate the 4.10 gears you have and will probably want to change then out for something like 3.55's or so b/c with 4.10 you are just going to sit and spin the tires.... and I'm pretty sure the underddrive pullys will have to go also.. b/c underdrive pullies and a s/c is not the greatest idea...

4:10's will be fine with the right tires and suspension work. I know several guys running 4:10's with KB and vortech etc.I am running 4:10's myself and would not have it any other way.

The t/b will work. The u/d pulleys and the plenum will have to go.I have the 6 lb. non i/c 2.1 with 4:10's. Don't be scared of the 4:10's, just get some lower contol arms and someMickey Thompson drag radials.Rwhp and 1/4 mile times in my sig.

yes.. the u/d pulleys and plenum do have to go but how do you know the t/b will work? did he say which model he bought. if it's the 2.6 he needs the oval cobra t/b not the round one that you have.... and it's funny to see everybody say all these good things about the 4.10's I'm curious to see what kind of hp numbers you guys are putting down.. I know bt1288 has it in his sig.. and no offense but you need to have mickey tompson drag radials on just to keep your tires to the ground and your numbers are far from impressive. his unit is intercooled so his numbers will be higher then yours. Fact is if he gets any real h/p numbers down with that k/b 4.10's will just smoke the tires.. I have the larger 2.2 KB so I'm not just guessing here.

Not to mention that this guy doesnt sound like the most experienced person around if he's going out and buying supports mods like a new plenum.. u/d pulies and an aluminum driveshaft which although it's nice is definetly not needed if you still have stock internals limiting your h/p to only around 400hp anyway.
