Default HELP!!!

Hey guys, i have a 2000 auto gt and the traction control off switch/button stopped working. by stopped working i mean the light doesnt illuminate any more and from what i can tell it doesnt work when i push it.what exactly do these switches do? do they lock the rear end to allow both wheels to spin at the same rotation speed or are they usless? and how do i fix the switch. thanks in advance,

Josh

no. when the computer senses a wheel spinning, it retards timing to reduce power. has nothing to do with the rear end. im not sure but you can check to see if the T/C button has a specific fuse for it and work from there. To me T/C is important because if you want to race you wont be able to launch. If its raining, you most likely want T/C on.

that was my thought. also when it was off before i could only get 1 wheel to spin. are we supposed to be able to do duel wheel burnouts? or no? what could be wrong here?

1 wheel spinning means you need your trac lock rebuilt
