My friend just got an 01 GT deluxe 5-speed. Silver with custom painted black ram scoop and black spoiler. The only thing done to it was the previous owner added a CAI. Hes tight on cash, but im trying to help him out on some free-mods as well as low-cost performance items for the time being until he’s back on his feet to spend more money. I was thinking since he has a CAI to do a home ported TB, inlet and outlet, but would he need to retune the car for the add’l added air or is he alright with it and not risk running too lean? Any other suggestions and advices is greatly appreciated!

MODS FOR UNDER $50
Remove the silencer from the intake, IAC mod, gas pedal mod, A/C delete, Battery relocation, Cut stock springs, remove jack and spare, K&N filter.

take out your back seats, passenger seat, take out ac, take out jack and spare , take out radio and dash board, take out door panels and all speakers take out all carpeting. That might take off a few hundred pounds and help it be a little quicker. You can find a cheap o/r x pipe and sell your stock h pipe with cats and come out close to even. I dont know to much more when it comes to getting free mods. Work overtime or sell some green and save
