Default What to do?

Hey guys,

Well, my GT is paid off in a month - I'm psyched. But there is a stock 04 mystichrome vert cobra with 30K mi and they're asking 26k for it.

It's not a daily driver.

I really like the idea of no car payments, but I REALLY like the car too.

What would you do?

for a cobra?!?! sell that b!tch!!! IMO you will be much happier, especially since you can afford it... i wouldn't go all out, but if the payments are around the same you have now, you should get it... i believe that once you have no car payment you alter your life so you end up spending that money on something else, when it comes time that you need to get a new car, it will be harder to alter your lifestyle for it...just my .02

sell the 02 and get the cobra. I would love to get my hands on one but school tuition takes most of my money.

Yea, they payments for a 3 yr loan would be about the same. I have at least 2 yrs until we start having kids, and know that it will be hard to trade up at that point.

Yea, it seems like there will always be something to spend my money on...lol. Right now the house seems to be getting most of it.

As long as no one steals it out from under me

Seriously, I've always said if there was an 04 vert mystichrome termi available when I paid off my car I'd trade up.

Sit back and enjoy the fact that you have no more car payments. Save up about 2k and then go get a 5k loan from your bank and buy a long block with stage II ported heads.

why not just get the cobra and keep your car? its already paid off that would be kinda foolish to just give it away. i know that when my car gets paid off im keepin that ho..iv put WAY to much money into it to take a loss on the mods
