Stingers v LM2's
#21
Whatever you do I think you'll be happy either way. The LM2s are way more aggressive sounding, almost like a race bullet, but that's not to say the Stingers aren't. The Stingers are more subdued until you nail it, but even when you do it's not so "in your face" kind of loud. It's kind of like Italian V8 sound versus American V8 sounding. Yaknowhadimean?

I've decided that I'm gonna keep the Stingers. I really cant justify spending another $450 on a catback that really wont change the sound that much. Plus I mean...the Stingers are pretty damn mean...

are you kidding me? I have bassani midlengths, bassani uncatted x pipe, and borla stingers. Its got a deep tone when you are just cruising around but anything over 3k gets pretty loud. Especially when you get on it. It sure does have the "'in your face' kind of loud". I've scared people by punching it when alongside them (you can do that with a lot of catbacks with no cats, but still it is by no means subdued). With the cats off, it rasps a lot. check out the dyno vid in my sig for a taste.
+1 on that. I dont really have too much rasp with mine w/o cats, but I sure do have the in your face loudness. I love it.
