Default Dyno Tuned the 1996 GT With Cams Today

Well I finally found the time to get my 96 GT on the rollers and tuned today. I'm very pleased with the results. The drivability is damn near stock-like, idles very well with a good lope and pulls very hard throughout the entire powerband.

These cams were designed by me, and ground by Comp Cams.

I did the tuning on a Mustang Dyno, which as most of you know is a load cell based dyno and requires proper calibration. This is why most of them read lower HP numbers. I'll be taking the car to a dyno day next month that will be performed on a DynoJet chassis dyno, which should give me the numbers we are all looking for.

In the meantime, it made 277rwhp on a Mustang Dyno today. I'm taking it to the strip this weekend, and will post up the ET's once I do.

For now, here's a couple vid's of the idle:

I was going to say, how'd you do that on a NPI. are you running a PI engine or something?

I just assumed it was PI swapped, I didn't even think about that.

Sorry about that, I forgot to mention it has a complete PI engine in it.
