^ exactly....

and lilroush - all are welcome to read the cobra badges thread in svt - its pretty common sense imo. And just FYI I dont have any cobra badges on my car, but it was mighty intellectual of you to bring in another topic.

Also, just as an observer - he doesnt want to tell you exactly how his suspension is setup so you duck the race?... heck he offered to match in you in power...

From a general standpoint, no, airflow alone will not make horsepower. an Inline 4cyl that has heads that flow 100000000CFM will not make squat unless it has an intake system, some sort of forced induction, a decent static compression ratio, spark, fuel.

What I'm saying is even though you have an engine that is capable of flowing as much as a 4v, unless the blower your using can shove that much air into that engine, and you can efficiently burn all of the fuel in the chambers, and expell the gasses efficiently, that doesn't mean that your going to make as much as the 4V.

If I were to give you 3 engines, one a v8, one a v6, and one, lets say a v12, each had the same airflow numbers *this is all theoretical*, and the same exact blower or turbo, same size and everything, running the same boost pressure, they are all going to make totally different power numbers. Not only due to adiabadic efficiency, but due to the pure fact that your having two/four/six more cylinders to aid in the combustion.

I mean, you realize that the M112, if that's what is on your sixxer, around a road course is going to get so much heat soak it's unbelieveable. I know you were at least running 400rwhp for a while because I've seen it in your sig. and you did say that if I was running 440rwhp, that you would be at 600rwhp. after that you said that the m112 wasn't the only thing you were bringing to the table, I'm kind of just logically eliminating what the possibilities are.

I have alot of respect for built sixxes, I think a built six is just as good as a built v8, especially with a power adder.

All that motor talk about moving air, and then tossing out it needs to have an intake and exhaust to make power. Wow, I think that is all part of the motor flowing air point I made.

And then you have the ***** to tell me about an old SC set up I have on my car for the past several years without ever seeing it! Amazing!!!! I'm so glad you are here to teach me about Sixers! And just for one more "Nope, wrong again".... I've never put 4XX hp numbers in a sig on this site.

And Fobra, I'm not ducking at all. He didn't meet what I asked, plain and simple.

I love site.
