Default Another hit and run :(

well i walked out to my car last week after it was parked overnight and i found it had been hit, and no car in sight which could have hit it. Well the next day we found the truck who hit me and im dealing with their insurance right now and hopefully it will all get fixed. $2804 damage, front right fender, hood, headlights, bumper, and all kinds of brackets behind the headlight. btw it was a bran new f-350 super duty harley edition truck that hit me.

how'd you find the truck? How's he going to explain to the police that he left no note or anything and drove off?

well it was in a school parking lot, and you have to have a permit to park in the lots overnight, it happened between 12am and 8 am, well if you look close at the pictures, im not sure if you can tell, but there is a gold, orangish color on the hood, so the bumper of the suv or truck (cuz a car couldn get their bumper up over my hood) had to be that color. Well we scoped out the lots where one can park and found this f-350 about 50 yards from my car. we walked over and its the harley edition so bottom half of it is orange, well its bran new with no scratches or dents newhere, and you can see where his back bumper(drivers side) was scraped up underneath and also you could see where something hit the hitch and also the plug for the trailer. i had called it in the day before, then i found this so i called the cops again and they confronted him and he confessed to hitting it. "I was backing up and the truck stopped, i thought i was stuck in a rut so i pulled forward and parked in another spot. i never got out to look why i stopped" lol straight from the police report. A friend of mine also then recalled the morning it was hit, he was down in the lot and saw the same truck slowly creep past my car then leave the lot. so he must have known he hit a car

he was then hit with a hit and run ticket which is $249 in WI

all that sounds like lying in a police report. He never looked back to see why he got stuck? Yeah right! He knew he hit your car I know he had to feel it and look back in his mirrors and see your car, then was like s***! Who gets stuck then never looks back?

That's awesome that you found the guy. Idk how he can get away without a hit-n-run ticket. How's UW-Stout? I just graduated from UW-Madison, good times. My friend's 97 Z28 got bumped in a parking lot one day. Gotta be a ****ty feeling when there's no note or anything.
