Default New Dyno #'s

so i took it to HPP in Lewisville today and the air temp was 87 degrees and the GT put down some good numbers with the new BAP installed but i still maxed out the focus pump at 6K so that will work for now. i need to upload the dyno sheet and ill post it up when i get that done but ill give you guys the numbers.

at 15 deg of timing and at IAT of 112 and at 9psi i made 440rwhp and 395rwtq on a stage one ported heads with XE274 comp cams and the rest is in my sig. but i thought that was pretty good numbers for a lil 283ci 2v :beer:

wait, so you had the engine rebuilt with stock rods and crank?

i told the guy i wanted it to have forged internals but he only did the pistons so im at my limit for now but it runs good for where its at now... he did put JE pistons and the head work but failed communication from my dad to him cause the mishaps

You should not be anywhere close to maxing out the focus pump at 440 WHP. I made 420~ WHP on the stock focus pump with no BAP.

Pistons weren't really even your limiting factor either.

Anyways, great numbers! If you're looking for a twin pump setup, my buddy is starting to "downgrade" everything and he has an 03 Cobra tank setup that he's looking to get rid of.

I had the same thing happen to me and it took a long time to figure it out. The focus pump with a 40A BAP should be good for a little over 500 rwhp. Well, on the dyno I maxed my focus pump with the BAP right at 440 rwhp as well. The tuner was puzzled for a while but finally figured it out. There are two different focus pumps and the only way to tell the difference is by the color of the lid. I can't remember which colors were what but I had the chity pump and it sounds like he does to.

yea i think zw a while back was puzzled why his svt pump hadnt maxed out with all the hp he was making with the spray and discovered the pump he had was one of the freak pumps.i hope i have a freak pump when i start making that much power.

yeah i was surprised cause we have the BAP turned to 50 and i maxed it out but the pump is the purple top and its a bosch pump and the number is: 0 580 453 613 and another one that says: 12v 807 28817 but ill just make it last till i go return
