I'm assuming your stock run was at MIR or Atco? Those tracks are extremely fast, most record passes are set there. 14.2's would be damn good in arizona.

yeah it is a 5 speed. and what i meant when i said i think im a pretty good driver, is that ive done a lot of street racing with a guy in the middle flagging it, but i havent been to the track. ive got a pretty consistant launch and havent lost many races. so im not trying to talk myself up im just letting you know what my experiences were. and no i dont street race now that i moved to arizona.

Like fast and the furious? LOL. It doesn't matter how much street racing you have done. Racing at the track is completely different. You will know once you are just about to hit the burnout box.

The first time i went to the track it was such a rush! Youll get hooked. I think i ran a 14.7 and got down to a 14.5 that night. Ran a few 15s to lol. The last time out i hit 14.1 with just a kn and flowmasters. I had under a 1/4 tank and no spare, it was cool and clear out, and pulled the pass headlight, but dont know how much that did. Its fun no matter what u run.

The launch is gonna kill u the first time. The best 60 foots and times i ran were a 1300 dump and punch launch. Launching higher blew off the tires. I feathered the gas once or twice and it did ok but was a little trickier.
