Default Brakes and rotors

Hey guys,

I'm due for inspection, and need new brakes and rotors (front and back). I've been looking at American Muscle, and they have hawk pads, and powerslot rotors (I'm not interested in the cobra upgrade right now), and was wondering if these are good/worth it, or just try my local Nappa store to see what they have. The price total for everything is about $500 after the fourm discount.

Thanks

you need rear rotors? been getting carried away with the burnouts, haven't you?

i would just get the mach 1 upgrade for the front ($36X) and stock replacements for the rear

lol - It's been a while since I've done brake stands (I've been more into figure 8's lately), but I'm sure that had something to do with it. I'm not 100% positive I'll need both, but the guy said they all barely passed inspection last year.

Do you think the mach 1 kit is worth it? Looks like the stock replacements are about $75 for rotors and pads:

Maybe I'll take it in and have them tell me if I need them or not. I can look at the rear rotors and they seem pretty beat, but don't see it on the fronts.
