Default 100K tune up suggestions

my car just turned 100K

and i wanted to get some opinions as to what i need to look at and/or replace for good maintenance.

right now the only things that are standing out to me is one: i believe the timing belt is slipping a little bit. it kind of lightly chirps when i first start it up for a few minutes.

and two: when im cruising along in 5th going about 45mph or so the car will shutter/cough/hiccup a little. the RPMs are low when it does this. if im in 4th going the same speed the car runs smoothly.

so im thinking replace the belt (its a gatorback right now)
and possibly replace the plugs for the sputters?

what else?

new fluids(all) plugs, fuel filter, iac, clean tb out, do a fuel system clean and that should get you running nice and smooth.

how do you figure skip the plenum stuff? it cleans a lot of built up bs off the inside of your tb/plenum and it only takes like 5 min.

I think he's saying not to go with the Highest quality, ie platinum, stuff, not to forget about cleaning the throttle body

whats all involved in cleaning the plenum? just wiping it down inside or getting at it with some sort of abrasive? and whats iac?

fuel system clean, is that just with a bottle of cleaner from the parts store or is that something you go to someone to get done?

Intake Air Control Valve, if yours isn't going bad, giving you a rough idle, you might not want to replace it, but at least clean it out.

Throttle body is fairly simple, I would clean it with some carb cleaner (I'd personally take it off, but you don't need to)

Just take the intake off and get some tb cleaner, hold your throttle open, and spray it in. dont let the car die.

i would just take it to a stealership n have them do it. or get the nes. equipment, attach it to the shrader valve pull the fuel pump fuse and have at it. very simple.
