i agree to a point, but a gain of 2rwhp is better than none and at 70.00 thats not bad.

i honestly dont see whats so bad about it, i already said it wasnt perfect, but it works and its just an intake, its not like I rigged up a dual superturbo leaf blower with nawz lol

its your and as long as your proud of it and can handle being the laughing stock of the car scene where your at and to everybody you show it to. so be it. buy the way i got my K&N CAI for 70.00 shipped to me with filter and recharge kit. if you would have looked around you could have saved money!!! ebay can be your friend.... congrats!!!!

actually at the time i decided to make it i couldnt find any cheap kits off ebay (cause thats where i got the CIA for my sixer when i owned it for dirt cheap) but now its like they have them abundantly...oh well

well i'm just saying, if you look at the K&N website, their most expensive kit makes less HP than their cheaper one.. because of the SRAIGHT shot, even though the most expensive one digs into the fender and grabs cold air.
As far as Trap speed/ ET..who the heck knows..i don't think your gonna notice 2HP on a 1/4 with a manual transmission.

OP..whatever brah..if you like it, then thats all that matters.. personally I think you've lost your mind..the only purpose of a CAI is nice sound and good looks..and you screwed the look part up big time. looked more hard core stock. Should of just took the time and powerwashed/ Armor all'd your engine bay and kept the stock hose on there.
I want to see a dyno. 20 bucks says you lost power.
