Thanks for all tips guys, I'll give it a shot with one roll of film, if I fail I'll only be about $15.
Most shops around here want $200+ to tint Mustangs thus wanting me to do it at least the sides anyway my self.

do it, its not that hard. just dont use windex to wet the window or film.
us a couple of drops of soap in a spray bottle, make sure the soap does not contain ammonia.
also one roll of tint will only do 1 front window, and the rear small window.
i just clean the outside of the window and lay a peice of tint over it and trim it to size from the outside, just make sure you have the sticky side of the tint facing in the right direction.
any when your squeegeeing the tint, keep it wet and dont apply alot of pressure, you will stretch it
a couple years ago, it cost me $100 just to get the rear window done on my 89 accord.

Damn! 200 is pretty steep. I would go to the nearest big city and find a place to do it. More than likely the price will really come down.
I've done only one car, and for the first time doing it, it was really a PIA. If I were to do another one it would be much easier with some lessons learned, but if you dont plan on doing many after this, why bother. Get it professionaly done, it costs about the same, and much better results. plus some places off the lifetime warranty that includes covering broken windows. I alwasy thought that was a nice pice of mind.

for a 16oz. bottle of water i would use about 2-3 drops. be carefull not too use too much or it will leave soap streaks when you squeege inbetween the tint and the window.
DO NOT use dishwasher soap, you can peel it off with one finger after 5 days

When you say dishwasher soap your not talking about products like Dawn that you do your dishs in the sink? Or specifaclly dishawasher soap?
They also make a special liquid to do it that they sell with the window tint supplies for like $5-6, I may just get that also as we don't have any Johnsons Baby soap on hand anymore.
If I gotta buy something, I may as well by the specail stuff.
