gears would give you the most bang for your buck.

PI heads, cams, and intake would be the best bang for the buck if you do the install yourself.

4:10's, PI swap, and Exhaust should hold you over for a little while...

What is your budget? I could give you suggestions that would run up a $100k bill, so money is the biggest factor. As mentioned above, gears are the best bang for the buck. 4.10's are the steepest you can go on a budget and is what I would suggest as well. I also argue that a B head swap is the other best bang for the buck mod. A B head swap will give you 70hp and can easily be done for under $1k. I've know people that have done it for under $500. It's an easy swap and the parts are floating around most junk yards.

Hey man I agree with everyone.. If you can afford it, do the PI swap. If you got $500-600 dollars on hand get the gears. The gears will cost about $180.00 (American Muscle ) and the install should be no more than $400.00. If you do decide to go with gears go with 4.10's.

+1 to gears and maybe a midpipe.

if your budget is $500 do gears

if its $750 do gears and mid pipe

If $1000 do PI swap if you can do the work yourself

$1500 i'd do Gears and PI swap

This should be the first thing you do even if you have to pay someone to do it. BTW nice looking car, How many miles on it? Got anymore pics?

Alright. Thanks for all the info guys.
I bought it with 97,500 miles. Still has 97,XXX miles. haha
I'm 16 years old and it's my first car. I'm really excited!!! i had to pay for it all by myself, it was $3500. The interior is as close to perfect as can be. I am very very happy with it. It's a 5 Speed Manual too! I Couldnt ask for a better car I think

SOOOO anyways, it seems to be that I should get 4.10 gears. Can someone just tell me the pros AND cons of getting those? thanks.
Any preference over which ones I should get? I'm looking here:

oh and to everyone that asked, I can get allll installation done free. One good thing about having 3 uncles and family friends, that are good mechanics and one works at a ford dealership in my town. Also my dad is good with cars too. haha

Thanks for the help guys.
Here are some pics of me and my dad messin around in an empty school parking lot a week or two ago. pretty fun haha. i love colorado

I'm just gonna put in my 2 cents. I was just like you, in high school when I got my first car. Save some extra cash because while you like to think that nothing is going to go wrong with your car, something might. I had to get the clutch in my first car replaced, about $600-700. Then after getting my GT, I cracked my intake and paid about $500 for parts and labor (didnt have the time to do it myself). So make sure everything is in good mechanical condition before you go out and start putting money into performance.
