With N2O there is more of a risk/reward relationship. Still run on 87 octane, don't necessarily have to have a tune, your torque gains are resickulous, and you can hide purges and the bottle to keep a stock sleeper look. With a supercharger it's always there, heat soak is a slight issue, but doesn't really bother me personally. If I'm going to the drag strip I let it cool in between runs, simple as that. The chances of effing your car up with nitrous are a bit higher, but that's where the risk reward comes into play. Some nitrous junkies on here will argue that point, but I've seen far more cars have huge issues with nitrous then S/C applications. Maybe that's because none of my friends have a blower, and most use nitrous. It's really all about what you want. If I was just going to have the car for fun and didn't plan on keeping it indefinitely I would go with nitrous. If I planned on building the car and making it into a street beast and keeping it forever, which I do...well you get the point. Hope this helps.

that sounds perfect for whati want to do. how much does that usually run?
It depends. Its more of a dial than a switch. I can turn the dial thru 9 different tunes (If i had that many), i only have N/A and Nitrous tune. It ran my 500 dollars and for a tune with a tuner it would cost more. Just call some local shops and see what they charge.
