Tune, shifters are worthless. I can shift just as fast with the stock as I can physically press and release the clutch pedal.
I woudlnt say they worthless.... they set you up for downshifts pretty nice. Its nice to know when i go 5th to 4th that there is no way its going into 2nd. The extra spring tension is a handy little tool while driving.

that brings me to another question. Do the t-3650 have shift lock outs on 1st and reverse.

thats the problem i did on accident. You would think that ford would have safety lockouts to keep you from going into 1st when you meant 3rd lol. It definately went in. Ive driven GM for most of my life and the newer ones all have safety lockouts so I didnt even think it was possible but when it did it scared the **** out of me.

lol not all things are goober proof...get a shifter and ull never have to worry about that again
