hi guys, i was thinking about lowering my 04 gt coupe but im not sure if i`ll need "CC plates , ball joints and bumpster kit" cuz ive heard some stangs are just fine whit just the springs, by the way i may go whit H&R springs.

its said that anything >1.5 and you need CC plates..
as for the bumpsteer kit and x2 ball joints, i think that i personally need the bumpsteer kit, but idk if you will or not.

Things to do:
1) Fix exhaust leak
2) Remove isolators
3) Get rear decklid shaved and painted DONE
4) Get fog lights sprayed with black/clear mix
5) Get lower valence re-sprayed
i would recommend cc plates. are you installing h&r super sports?
i rolled around for awhile without the x2 balljoints and bumpsteer kit and the ride was a bit harsher and i noticed a bit of bumpsteer. i later installed the two and the car felt so much better. no more bumpsteer and a smooth ride.
If you go with super sports, you will want to have aftermarket shocks and struts and also cc plates at least. They drop the car a lot and you will have a poor ride quality and uneven tire wear without the additional parts and an alignment afterwards. As far as the bumpsteer goes, it will drive better with it, but you can probably get by without it. Before I did my suspension, I went through this thread
