i just read your description of your car and just for like a base point i bought mine last year around this time with just a catback and only 78000mi and i paid 6500 and the paint and interior looked literally like it just came from the factory. I bought it from a girl so it was spotless. I was talking to my dad as we were leaving and i was like i wonder why she sold it? Just than shes next to us at a light with a termi cobra haha.

start at 6.5 and let the buyer talk you down a few hundred so he feels like he's getting a deal

test drove a 2007 mazda 3 hatch yesterday... **!* this. I was going to get 3500 as a trade. I can't see myself ditching this car for that cheap. my other option is to keep this car and buy a beater for when it snows. It might be better than parting with a car that i love. Today driving back to the mazda dealer i ripped thru 3 gears and was like "there is no way!!"

Do you like your car? If so, then just put snow tire at all for corners. It will make a world of difference.

+1 i have blizzaks on mine, i found a set of 15" steel rims and put blizzaks on all four corners and the thing is amazing in the snow. and then i just throw my summer tires back on in the spring. But then for the price of some used steel rims and 4 bran new blizzkas you could probably find a decent beater ya know?

i have the 4 stock oem rims off the car, maybe i could buy the blizakks but the salt is what sucks horribly around the NJ area, but it might get me out of an insurance payment every month. Where can i get snow tires like that.
