Haha I was about to give your car a plug in this thread and you beat me to it. I would suggest mine but its over his price range.
To the OP I would really consider looking at ColinGTs, you will regret cheaping out and paying for it in maintenance costs down the road....and besides his looks pretty sweet.
You won't be happy with the V6. Keep your eyes out for another GT.
You got that right

Good advice, I'm taking it to a good shop tommorow. Thanks
And where in pg do you live? I volunteer at a fire dept in silver spring, we run into PG all the time- laurel, Beltsville and college park.

I'd love to take it off your hands but 6 is a hard ceiling.
What do you guys think of this one?
it's a 95 gt. for 5500,
"Body has approx 185k Rebuilt engine, less than 2k miles.
Assembled with Ford Racing E303 cam, FR 1.7 roller rockers, FR adjustable timing gear & chain. Replaced bearings and rings on rebuild. other mods include Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator, JEG's fuel pressure gauge, MSD pro-billet distributor, explorer intake manifold, BBK cold air intake, BBK headers, Flowtech H-pipe, flowmaster mufflers with dumptubes under car, FR king cobra clutch, resurfaced flywheel, FR 4.10 final drive gears, BBK 255LPH fuel pump kit, steeda tri ax shifter, steeda adjustable clutch quadrant. Car has brand new alpine 9884 head unit with ipod hookup in glovebox. Car is white with a blue pearl over coat."

any good?
Thanks to everyone for your input and help.
no offense but you aren't getting it, buying a mustang with that many miles is going to mean maintenance costs that will end up having you spend what you would have on a lower mileage car...and its worth less later when you try to sell it.
Unless it is in awesome shape I would try for between 6-6500 for that year and mileage. Just remember that when it comes to the car market you are in control and its okay to walk away, if they need to sell it that bad they will make it work for you. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
On a side note, be sure you can see the car very well, black can be deceiving and appear better than it really is if you do not look closely. (black shoe polish and poor lighting can make a black car look great when you are excited about it)
