I'v always wanted some American muscle. Fell in love with a mustang recently....
Anyway I have the opportunity to get either a 95k 5 speed, '01 white GT for 6 grand or a Red Cobra '99 for 5450 with like 84k miles.
I think the cobra is a better deal but I think red is a girly color. I really wanted a shiny midnight black or something or atleast white. What do you guys think?
Thanks

No don't assume it was definitely fixed...I donno what to look for but try posting in the Cobra section or on SVTPerformance.com and ask...or maybe you can get the VIN checked at a Ford dealership
99.999999% of the '99 Cobras have been fixed. If you want to make sure look at the driver's side lower intake (near the alternator bracket) and you will see either a blue or green dot. These dots indicate that the car has had "the Fix" done. You can also call 1-800-FORD-SVT or your local dealer and give them the VIN, they'll check the OASIS report for the car and confirm.
P.S. Get the Cobra, you'll regret it if you don't.
