I loved the nittos for street. I never took them down the track, but after a good burnout and lowered air pressure, they did well on the street.

If you have slicks for the track, Nitto's for sure. I put 8k miles on mine and then gave them to a buddy and he's still driving on them. They aren't gonna be near a MT radial, but they'll last awhile.

I have nittos, lasted 2 seasons. the MT's are NOT going to last longer, and are NOT great for DD,s. they have less tread than either nitto or bfg, so no wet driving.
they handled my car just fine on the street.

yes, but are they going to hook my power? My car had nittos on it when i bought it.. granted they were about shot, they spun like no other 1st -3rd... when the 100 shot hits i dont want to spin (from a roll).... i borrowed my friends mickeys and they worked well, i just dont want to go through a lot of tires... I dont DD the car nor does it see rain, but summer nights i do a lot of cruising, there is a big car scene around here.. so figure 8k miles per year...

they fine enough for me. 417rwhp + a 125 shot.
I know I could do better with MT's but I dont wanna spend the money on tires I will shred in 2 months.

on a cold day from a roll if i just punch it from the middle of the power band I can break em loose but it still gets plenty of pull. feather it on I can hold it just fine, and my tires are fully inflated. 275s on 17s.

like i said, it would be way better with some MT's and maybe a 335, but its not like im having traction issues right now.

Every experience I have with nittos has been a bad one. I tried Nittos on my Cobra and they just spun balls, and that was with ~300rwhp. Friend's cars with 555Rs just spin em as well. My truck has Nittos on it and any heavy throttle from 0-40mph is just wheel spin. If you want to hook, buy MTs.. If you want to spin, buy Nittos. (I'm putting my flame suit on now)

I get the feeling you guys are talking about the track.

now, i may be forced to run the nittos this summer, but I will be looking to borrow some prostars and slicks if i can find someone w them. but I know plenty of guys that have run 1.7 60s on nittos. its not that hard.

MT's obviously better than nittos, but i thought the OP stated that he wanted tires that will last. I have had my nittos for 2 seasons. one of them has a slow leak from something I ran over, but there is still plenty of tread on it still.

u want traction? ya get MT's, u want them to last? dont get MT's. they are like butter if ur talking wear.
