pikuoff, congrats man, what did you change to gain 2-3mph?
I went from a 28.5" tire to a 26" tire and shifted quicker. I had been having problems shifting, like it wouldn't shift smoothly at higher rpms. My shifts always stopped before they would go into gear. On one of my later runs this weekend, I slammed 2nd pretty hard and something sorta clicked or popped. I thought my tranny was toast but since then, the car has shifted better than it ever has...go figure! I also went ahead and launched at around 5k+ rpms, which knocked a tenth off my 60ft.

Yea a 150. The wind probably hurt a bit but the new clutch, transmission and MGW shifter was so different from what I've had the last 8 years I shifted Granny all day. I am probably the only person in the world that doesn't instantly fall in love with their MGW...... lol
