slips are appreciated. So you went a 13.3 at around the stock hp level, with stock gears, and the only suspension mod is SFC?

I would say running that again isnt ever going to happen you should be in the low 9's high 8's in the 1/8 mile. I am going with Computer malfunction. I run 8.5'-8.6's and I am procharged and use nitto drag radials. Keep in mind I granny shift and launch at a lower rpm then I should, but still. I will post a slip tomorrow after I wake up. And to the dude earlier about the nitto's I pull 2.0 sixty's all day with them with a little burn out and launching at 2-2.5k rpm. You can call me a pussy but I gotcha drive the thing home 45 miles when I get done. And the dudes running the track thought I was going to break a universal joint because the whole rear end would shift when I would launch any higher then 2.5k rpm. I need a stronger suspension before I go for sub 8, 1/8 mile times. Oh and I am still using stock gears. I gotcha get my car to the garage this summer or next winter.

I'll eventually get you on there. Keep in mind that you need 100 posts and to be an active member. Hopefully soon you can make another run and duplicate or better your times. This would not only clear up some doubt but help secure your spot if you better it. It'll be a couple months before I make it to the track, so ya'll are safe for a while.

well i do have a 13.46 slip as well, i only got 3 runs before i broke my posi, first run was a 2.142 60foot with a 8.82 1/8 and 13.610 1/4, had a bad launch and wasnt pushing the shifts because i was a bit nevious since i had never raced with a helmet and was up against an ISF his first time at the track with the car figured i could win by exp, he beat me by less than a tenth in time but i won because i had a better R/T, my second run was the 13.46 with a 2.020 60 and 8.678 1/8 (got the launch down)and then of course my best run, personally id agree with all of you guys about it being a fluke if i hadnt seen the progress of a few runs. and i beleive that i could have done better had the clutches not failed. Heres the problem tho, i cant duplicate it again because when i put the money into the rear to fix it im upgrading to 31 axles new posi and 3.90 gears....so id love to prove to myself and all you guys that i did and can do it...just wont happen, im not spending 500 bucks to repair factory stuff when i have the money to make it better. i guess ill have to run 12.99 with proof by just changing the rear end and adding some drs...will that work? lol

I dont think the air was that great that night. My car usually traps a little better, and with that 60' I should definitely be another tenth or so faster, so obviously the car wasnt pulling that great. But oh well I'll work some things out and go back again. Nitrous runs should be soon!
bump.

your running a SC? your 60 foot isnt too bad but with that 60 foot and all your power i woulda though quicker in the 1/8 than 8.6? can granny shifts make that big a difference?
