I had a MAC catback before this but its on the wifes car now and she refuses to give it back and take the SLP cause she hates the sound. I was lucky my buddy wanted it so he ordered me a MAC catback and he is gonna take the SLP in trade.
I was going to say if you wanted quieter you could go with the Powerflow's and just swap them in to your system but you already ordered the MAC system.
i dont know about you guys but loud is kinda a part of a mustang IMO. why have one if its not loud and fast? and i like the decel popping, i wish mine did it more, sounds badass. and as far as the police are concerned, consider it a compliment if you get pulled over, i know i do =] my father actually drove my car once and got pulled over by a cop because he said he had to stop him to see the car cuz he loves mustang, hahaha!
my lm2's are very broken in, they have 30k+ on them. honestly they sound alot cleaner, deeper than they did when first new. new they sounded almost out of control and bubbly. main reason i got them was because i found a great deal on them.
ive just always liked straight through loud xpipe setups. chambered sounds good, but there is just something about it that turns me off.

problem is the louder you go the more you can sacrifice tone and sound quality.

I have SLP loudmouth 2 catback and just can not stand the sound anymore. Got a new MAC catback on the way and can't wait to get the nice clean mustang sound back. Longtubes, o/r midpipe and slp catback should not be put together.
I agree 100% I had to swap from a o/rx to o/r h to catted h to finally make my slps sound good. I love the sound now, but I wish I would have stuck with a chambered muffler(only because it took me 500 bucks to find the right midpipe...)

it isn't the loud part that were discussing, it's the tone/timbre part. LM1's and LM2's just don't have very much/good tone.
Mac's will probably be close to the same volume, DB wise, but they will have a completely different, most likely better tone.
