My lm2 and o/r x sounds like ass above 2400 rpm. And sounds like a fart cannon above 4k. At idle and real low revs it sounds awesome.

I'm trying to trade my X for an H. If that doesnt give me a tone I like, ill be switching "mufflers."

I agree, SLP's too loud IMO....I'd go with Flowmaster's!

I thought about getting a flowmaster thunder catback but I like MAC so I decided to stick with what I know.

But you have a H pipe. I've always heard that H pipes are for chambered mufflers like Flows/mac and X pipes sounded best with race tubes. I'm glad you posted this, I was actually thinking about hitting the buy button on LM's today. I also have an H pipe.

chambered mufflers restrict flow too much? im planning the exhaust for my big block, but i dont want to choke it and make it run bad.... my buddy had some flowmasters on his 460 and they choked it so bad it wouldnt even rev....but ive heard good things about 22" long mac mufflers....oxford, any thoughts on this? i want my car quiet, and im willing to give up a couple ponies to do it, but i dont want to choke it and lose a bunch of power

No one mentioned Hooker Max flows, i was considering welding them in this summer. No stories or personal experience with them?
