For the record, both Mac and Flowmaster's quality is horrific. They sound good from the exterior of the car though.

Nope. Flows are extremely tinny when paired with an o/r x. They have a metallicy high pitched noise that sounds like absolute crap. I ran 50's for a while, I ran 40's for a while, and I finally broke down and bought MACs because everyone recommended them over Flows. The hype isn't for nothing. Flows sound great with an o/r h, and most other mid pipes. But MAC sounds better on every application. Deeper tone, louder, not as high pitched, more aggressive sounding, absolutely ZERO drone. The drone didn't bother me much, infact I kinda liked it; but after having a muffler that doesn't drone at all, you realize you don't miss it. Not to mention they flow better than the 50's or 40's I had on my car for years.(not that flow is a big difference in a catback)

I used to be a flowmaster fanboi, but after switching to MAC, I simply don't see any reason to go back. You need to hear MAC, I'm not bull****ting here.

^^^^ All of this of course is geared toward what WE want muffler for, and that is a badass sounding Mustang.

I had a weak moment brother. Please forgive my blatant disregard for peoples thoughts and emotions. I just had a cherry slush and was hopped up on too much sugar. I hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive me and I do know that I will have to earn your trust again. It's going to be a long and hard fight but one day I'm confident that you will have the respect for me that you once did.

Have a nice day, I love you.

Humbly yours,

Nerd

I have Super 40's on my Cobra with a Catted X-pipe, it sounds good - everyone seems to like it a lot, but it's not quite my flavor. Switching to Magnapacks this spring when it comes out of storage.
