Let's do some math here....

4.6 v8 new engine with 3,000mi on it installed by ford dealer with the paper work .

New motor INSTALLED BY DEALER, yeah thats at least 3500 right there.
-

world class tko 500 trans about 5k on it
centerforce dual friction clutch
centerforce steel flywheel
ford racing pilot bearing
ford racing aluminuim drive shaft

theres another 3k, even more if a shop, yet alone a stealership, installed it

bbk long tube headers
mac x pipe
slp loudmouth catback

Not that you really count the exhaust and the rest of the mods but still thats another grand there. So 6200 barely, if any, covers the cost of a new engine installed by a dealer and a practically new tko500. THe numbers dont lie, somethings mighty fishy.

Yea.. he said its been sitting in his driveway for a while now.. I was just talkin to him and he said his newborn just takes up too much of his time. He also said he found quite a few of his receipts. I asked him how many miles were on the body, he said about 124k. Hoping this works out!

If you check it out though, and all's good, then that is the best deal I've ever heard of. A damn tko500 alone is worth the 2 grand difference your paying. I'd still be worried he's hiding something, if its not a total scam. Is the car even posted on craigslist or autotrader if he's that desperate to practically give it away for 6200.

Why does everyone think it's a scam? It sounds like the guy honestly needs to trade to a different car, and EVERYONE should know that you aren't going to get near what you put into a car.

I think it's legit.

Combined between the original owner, and myself, my car has more than $50,000 in it, but I'd be lucky to get 15k right now

I think it's probably pretty legit. He probably just needs the money, and when you have a newborn and have to buy a house, you just can't sit on a car for a long time waiting to sell it

yeah rob but thats a good bit less($6200) lightly modded NE of the same year are going for with a good bit of recent work done to it, you would think he would atleast try to get what others are getting.
