Default MIL all you need?

Need to get my car inspected, currently running a o/r mid pipe, will adding MILs allow me to pass without having to change midpipes?

Yes as long as your tune doesn't have them turned off and they don't do a visual inspection.

it depends on a few things. The main thing being if they want to be strict. Some places will just here your engine or smell your exhaust and turn you away. But like sxynerd said if all they do is the computer check and no visual you should be fine.

all the MIL eliminators do is turn off the CEL light. which means the car isnt throwing any codes. this makes it so when they hook thier tester up to the OBDII port you dont fail for throwing codes.

it will not help you pass a visual or sniffer test.

All inspection hook it up to a scanner. If they turned off in the tune, you will fail. Mill Elims fool the ECU to think that they are still working properly. / of story

But he's asking about inspection... I'm only stating that turning them off in the tune will fail a state inspection. If he had Elim's then he would pass the same test.

When they hook up the OBD scanner and it reads "No" rear O2's then he fails. (<--thats with the tune) If they hook it up and it's not in the tune and he has Mil Elims then it just fools them into thinking they are running within parameters.

There was another thread like this one a couple days ago on here and some people say what ^^^ is saying. But then other people say they pass their state OBD inspection just with the tune turning the rear o2's off. So now I have to turn my rear o2's on and run MIL eliminators just to pass inspection? (Provided they don't care about having no converters).

Those states either can't be doing an OBD test or they are overlooking it.
