Default to prochamber or not to prochamber, that is the question

Ok so I have full exhaust with o/r H and stingers on the back. I am starting to feel its a little too loud. Whats the next step to mute the damn things a little bit? Pro-chamber right? Will that quiet me down a bit without changing my sound? (I don't want it to sound euro-ey (sp?))

It will change the sound a bit by adding a little rasp to it.

IF you want a raspy sound then go for it. I love the way it sounds at idle with my cams, but a WOT the RASPY sound is just a lil to much. I looking to go for an O/R H if i can.

It would be more expensive to add cats than to buy a new o/r midpipe though.

My brother has a prochamber on his, and i have an h on mine, and from my perception it seems the prochamber is quieter, less raspy, but still has a deep tone.

The h pipe has a rawer, louder, more agressive sound (especially at part throttle) in general.

actually i disagree. if done right it can be much cheaper. all youd have to do is buy either used cats or some off ebay, and have a muffler shop weld them in. whats a new prochamber like 180 or somethin? im sure you could get some cats welded in for under 150 and then there be absolutely no rasp.

but i like a little rasp, and definitely have always loved H pipes so i think keeping what you have is best. but what do i know right? haha
