I know I just asked this already, but I have to ask ONE more time to make sure I am going to do this right.
My cams will be in tomorrow, and I have a quick question about how safe my car will be to drive for the next few days (4) without tune.
The cams are Comp Cams XE 270AH w/ Comp Cam springs+retainers (part #s 26113-16 & 792-16)
Will my car be safe to drive without a tune for 4 days (obviously driving like a grand mother) before I take it on Sunday to get tuned at another shop
OR
Should I pay the shop that is installing the cams $350 ($250 if I do it myself as I said above) to drive my car TO the other shop, to be dynoed on Wednesday, and so when I get it back Thursday It will be tuned and ready to go.
Please give me your best detailed answer. Thank you

Why are you having 2 shops do the work anyways? I drove around for a couple of months with my cams and no tune.. and that was with a pi swap too. Just don't pound on the car and you should be fine... It might have issues with stalling though... you'll just have to keep give it gas at idle or when you're coming to a stop.
You don't need a tune for cams so as to not break something, only to optimise the tune and make it idle as well as it will--depending on the cams.
I.e. there's nothing the cams will change that will make the OEM tune incorrect, it will just be not as good as it could be--drive it anyway you like...
