got them from here http://www.dynamicsoundcaraudio.com/hidkits.html but it looks like they raised their prices a ton. I got a local discount though, but lots of people are using hids from ddmtuning and hidguy.net or even ebay, ive had an expensive kit on my last car and put on hid kits on my friends care from a few companies and honestly they all see the exact same just with different stickers on the ballasts. But now most people have slim ballasts which are easy to hide, which is awesome b/c the normal ballasts are huge

i had problems with my bulbs lighting... sometimes one burns brighter than the other... etc.... the autohidguy ones fire up perfect everytime...plus the vvme seemed cheaply made

sometimes even one foglight doesn't ignite if i turn all four on at once

Mine light up perfect everytime. Maybe yours had installer error.

I thought the vvme HID kit was very nicely made. I compared it to my buddys $200+ headlight only kit and looked like the same quality.

I have 8000k HIDs and although they seem a little blue to me at times, I don't think they look ricerish in any way.

well I think the smoked lenses look awesome, not necessarily the light emitted from the bulbs. I really didn't like or dislike the light either way, so I was just curious what others opinions were. for me personally, an HID upgrade is a waste of money so I might just go get some white bulbs. thanks for the opinions though.
