The Tri-Ax is a bit notchy, but that it exactly what I like about it. It feels more precise IMO.

i bought a used Pro 5.0, it was a good deal and i didn't really look at the brand very much. Over stock it was awesome, not sure how it compared to the MGW however. I'm sure anything you get over stock will feel great depending on if you like notchy or smooth. I think my Pro 5.0 is a little notchy, but I've grown to like it, feels like a race car transmission.

I love my MGW, it's very smooth, and over time the more you use it, the better it feels. I just looks and feels like it's very, very well made. I also bought their "composite race knob". I just love MGW's products.

I have a Tri-Axe. I didnt see the point in paying 200 bones for something I can get used for 70 that will get the job done exactly the same.

I'm happy with my MGW. I've driven with both tri-ax and MGW. Either one is fine.
The gasket stangmods gives you is a piece of crap. The bolt holes were about 3"s off.
