mods are in my sig. first run ever in this car (without stereo ****) was a 14.3, after about 10-15 runs, I got down to a 13.8 @ 101 on a chilly night (maybe 70*) and I was happy with that. After all, I'm on some cheap ass hankook street tires 255/40/17s...but after it sat in the garage all winter, I need to learn how to drive again, cant break 14.1 now

Jay, that means a lot coming from you, if I had 1/2 your ability I'd have my car in the 11's NA. I guess I should say it's not that I can't drive, I just choose not to, b/c I can't afford a tranny.

yeah in one of your videos you said that your shifting like a granny or something... but they were fast. you launch the hell out of it too, so i dont get it haha. the trany thing is true, mines a year old and i think its starting to go over that hump and start the downhill slope.

Well that right there is very impressive. I look at your car with your mods and I see a car I'd like to take a crack at on the street. I've got you by about 250-300lbs and you've got slightly more firepower I would think. I hook okay with 255/50/16's out back and I do have the 3.55's and healthy Motorsport clutch and tranny having never seen any track duty. I figure with DR's and nothing more than my current set up I'd be good for a solid mid 13 @ anywhere from 101-103mph. To knock out a 13.39 you must have driven the fvcking wheels off of that thing. Congratulations on the new best!

lol thanks, once I get a set of 15x10's I'll launch it like a mad man. It's hard to get it to hook up on a 9" slick that's 3 years old. My stock t-45 has 133k miles

Reading this thread inspired me to register..

My wife picked out our car, 99 GT 5spd, all stock, 98k miles
leather/power everything, mach460 etc so not the lightest car.

with it's original beat up clutch (getting replaced this week) and some really cheapo tires, Fuzion HRI or something.

my best time is 14.0081 @ 99mph I think around 2.0 60 ft, 1230 ft elevation

It surprised me, as most mustangs here run slower even with lots of mods.
Most heads/cam foxes are in the mid 14's here.
