How big of a gap is there between 3rd and fourth gear in the 5spds?

In the T-56, 3rd and 4th are close, and with 3.55's, 3rd gear goes pretty damn far, 2nd ends around 90mph, so it's probably a good 130mph before I have to shift again.

but I've heard that guys are shifting into 4th on the 5spds at like 105?

That would just kill any attempt at hanging with one, no matter what kind of power he has

WTF is up with all of these "What does it take to beat a....." threads. Jeez people, all you gotta do is google how much HP the other car has and see what their approx. 1/4 mile times are. Then figure out what you need to do to get to their 1/4 mile times, to me HP doesn't really mean sh!t, I've seen cars with less horsepower beat cars with more horsepower. E.T.'s, 60', and MPH numbers are the ones that matter.

lol with 4.10s im in 4th at like 75 or 80. with stock gears i remember I used to drop it into 3rd on the highway doing like 80 or 90 and still have room to go. Id bet you can go to 105 without shifting with 3.55s.

6 speed is king though no doubt.

When I was at 516 I was beating a stock one at my local by about 5-6/10ths and about 3-4 mph
