ya thats true. you would have to be pretty sure on the purchase.
the benefits of the 5.0 are the massive aftermarket (substantially bigger than 2V 4.6), simple design, and they are easier to work on. in the long run it will be a lot easier and cheaper to make the 5.0 fast then it would to make the non pi 2V fast.
plus the k member in the 5.0 can bolt in a bigger motor without modifications, while you would have to swap k members in the 4.6 to do the same thing. i also prefer the t5 in the 5.0 over the t45 in the 4.6 (non integrated bellhousing on t5), but thats more of a personal preference.
sorry if this kind of sounds like a rant. im just typing as things come to mind.
